SEPTEMBER 27th 2008 - DUTCH OCTAGON CHAMPIONSHIP WITH NATHAN & KURT!
The octagon is finally back in Holland!
And even better news is the fact that our own cage-veteran Nathan
Schouteren will appear in that same octagon.
Nathan is going to compete battle Berry Bunthof of the famous
Pardoel sports.
Kurt Verschueren (who recently became MMA fighter of the year in our team) will also participate in this event.
His opponent will be Noufel Amellouk from the well-known Mikes
Gym.
Also appearing in this crazy event will be Michael Knaap, Tommy Depret, Raymond Jarman, Willy Ni, Jason Jones, Danny van Bergen and a lot of other famous fighters.

GRAPPLERS VC DE GROOT OBTAIN SILVER 2 TIMES!
Last weekend a few of our grapplers travelled to Ede to compete in the grappling championships.
And 2 of our fighters made it to the finals!
Jorn Geers 2nd place in the -76 kg class Paul Jaspers 2nd place in the -83 kg class
Both Jorn and Paul finished in 2nd place and made a statement for what our gym's all about.
Also participating were Remco Lommers and Rudo Somers, and eventhough this was there first time competing
Rudo almost made it to the finals!

MAY 31ST 2008: FIGHT-ARENA 14 DENMARK WITH
NATHAN SCHOUTEREN AND KURT VERSCHUEREN!
Friday may 30th both Iwan, Nathan and our Belgian friend Kurt will travel to Denmark.
Nathan and Kurt will both participate in the 14th edition of the Fight-Arena event.
Nathan who's ranked 2nd in the European Shooto-ranking will fight against Mikkel Guldbæk who's ranked 5th.

Mikkel Guldbæk is the one with the red fightshorts.
Kurt will take on Jason Fossel and we wish both fighters the best for this great event!
CLINT KOOLEN VICTORIOUS ON EAST SIDE RISING!
On March 23rd 2008 our own Clint Koolen fought his second thaiboxing match on the bog East Side Rising event in
Twello.
Clint's opponent was the taller Maico Henning from KN Zutphen,
Round 1 and 2 showed a focussed Clint carefully executing his gameplan by staying close to Henning and pepper him
with striking combinations.
Round 3 Henning tried to come back in to the fight but Koolen kept his cool and secured the victory.
